Al principio tenía miedo, pero después de unos instantes acepté con tranquilidad la situación. Todo parecía un poco más borroso de lo que lo recordaba, los aromas se habían ido por fin y el ruido también había desaparecido. Por primera vez en mi vida sentía realmente la quietud.
Caminaba por el tejado de mi casa, mientras a mi derecha me acompañaba una entidad que no podría definir con ninguna certeza. Más allá de la confianza que me generaba su compañía, no tengo ningún recuerdo de ella. Desde aquel tejado y a través del espacio que el jardín interno de la casa tenía, pude verme a mí mismo recostado sobre la cama, a mi abuela en la habitación del lado y a nuestros dos perros que parecían algo inquietos, olfateando y mirando hacia el vacío. Estaba a punto de partir cuando el ser que tenía al lado me detuvo. “¿Está listo ya?” me preguntó, “por supuesto que sí, he esperado esto toda mi vida”.
El viaje astral fue mucho más complicado de lo que hubiese imaginado, no estaba preparado para la cantidad de peligros y dificultades que surgieron. Pero nada me causó más impacto como cuando me encontré con mi padre, allí, en la laguna transparente donde se ahogó. ¿Acaso de esto se iba a tratar esta prueba? Esperaba que así no lo fuera, porque nada fue más duro que ver sin vida a un hombre honorable, que con su sola presencia lograba calmar a las personas. Supongo que fue irónico que su adiós tuviera que ser a cajón cerrado.
“Hay que seguir”, dijo el ente. De un momento a otro, me encontraba en la iglesia de mi casamiento. Que iluminado estaba todo y al final del pasillo, Amanda. Que bella que se veía ese día. Si alguien me hubiera dicho como iba a terminar todo, hubiera apostado hasta mi vida de que estaba seguro no sería así. ¿Pero quién podría habérselo imaginado?…
“Hay que seguir”, dijo el ente. De un momento a otro me encontré en una carretera lejos del barrio donde vivía y allí pude ver a mi hermano, caminaba junto a sus dos compañeros, con que inicio su travesía. Los vi como hablaban y comentaban lo fabuloso que se sentían, de haber dado el paso de salir a hacer este recorrido y vivenciar personalmente el paisaje. En el transcurso de su recorrido iban muy felices, hasta que llegó el momento trágico.
Un conductor irresponsable junto con dos personas más, en estado de embriaguez, perdieron el control del vehículo. Fue tan mala la suerte para mi hermano que el vehículo se fue hacia ellos, impactándolos por la espalda, ocasionándoles la muerte a mi hermano y a uno de sus compañeros. Antes del momento del impacto uno de ellos gritó y gracias a esto pudo alertar al otro compañero el cual al ver hacia atrás tuvo tiempo de correr y se libró de que él también hubiera sido una víctima más de este fatal y triste accidente.
“Hay que continuar”, dijo el ente. De repente me encuentro en la habitación del hospital Santa Clara, allí en una habitación de cuidados intensivos donde se encontraba hospitalizada mi madre, ya que tenía una enfermedad que poco a poco iba acabando con su vida. Yo era consciente de la gravedad que presentaba mi madre en esos momentos, pero también tenía la esperanza que quizás mi madre pudiera salir o no se curarse de este cáncer que estaba padeciendo. Soy consciente que lo que esperaba era un milagro pero no fue. Visité a mi madre por 5 días consecutivos con una nostalgia y tristeza profunda, ya que seguía igual o peor de lo que había ingresado, pero aun así no perdía mi esperanza, ahí seguía acompañándola aunque ella no me pudiera ver. Quisiera poder decir que salí del transe o desperté del sueño… pero al parecer el limbo en el que me encuentro quiere algo de mí, algo que no comprendo aún y que me impide trascender.
